Didn't know where to put this.
I have put an image into my gallery. I downsized it to - 1200x721.
But when I put it on via imgbb, it showed up a lot smaller. And wouldn't increase in size when clicked on. So I deleted it, and tried again via Picture Trail. The exact same thing has happened again.
Never had this problem before.

Have you tried posting it via imgbb without downsizing it?

whippet, you may want to give cubeupload (cubeupload.com) a try. I use it almost exclusively for adding images to my gallery and have never had any issues with sizing after the fact.

If I did not downsize, then it would post as over 3,000 pixels, M.M.
I have now put another two images on the challenges. And didn't have any problems. I will take a look, Sydney. I have used Irfan View for years. Maybe it is time for a change.
Thank you both.

Hmm. THere seems to be a 1MB upload limit with imgbb. I did not know that. Perhaps Tom can verify this.

The imgbb.com site says their limit is 16 megabytes.

Well, now I'm having a problem. I'm trying to upload a large image via imgbb (actually this now happens with any image). I get the drop your image here box, but behind that box another full screen "drop your image here" box" which is actually for attachments. Once I drop my image on the first box, it indicates that it is uploaded and disappears, but the the second full screen remains and there is no way to get back to my original message, which presumably now has the image.
Tom? (And BTW, the 1MB limit actually referred to the attached upload box).

Major Major , I just used i mgbb.com to post this week's EP Challenge, and did not experience what you are describing. The image is larger than 1 MB but less than 16 MB, and it seems to be available full-resolution.

Well, I wish I could figure it out. Real buzz-kill.

Just to be clear, I do get two windows. The top one is a sign-in dialog that I just close. The window behind it is the actual upload dialog ("Drag and drop or paste images here to upload").

I don't know what you mean by a sign-in dialog.

This is what pops up when I click the Add image button: There is a SIGN IN dialog that I dismiss, leaving just the Upload your image screen.

Just rename me - Jonah. I don't get the 'sign in'. I have always had this - I don't know the size, but this screen shot has uploaded, no problem.

I don't get that sign in dialogue either. I just get the drag and drop screen same as whippet.

Well, I cleared my browser cache and it appeared to work, let me upload a photo, but when I tried to upload a second one I was back to square one. Very frustrating.
