I’m getting a pop up warning from Malwarebytes blocking the website U.cubeupload.com. Consequently I can’t see any uploads on here from anyone I think may be using this site. This started this morning. Is anyone else getting this? I’ve asked a question on the Malwarebytes forum with no response so far.
I've done a Google search on the subject and can't find anything at all.

I use cubeupload and just tried to see if I could upload an image with no problem. I may be able to contact the owner. If I can, I'll post back with any info he might provide.

I am afraid this is not a CubeUpload problem; the culprit here is Malwarebytes. It could just be a case of "false positives".
I have a CubeUpload account and I use Norton Internet Security. I have just checked. No problem! No warning!

Hello all, and hello to BillieJean, I can confirm Sepiana is right, there isn't any risk malware is coming from our end. If you have any more information from Malwarebytes that you can share, I'd be glad to look try and get some more understanding on the problem. Hope that helps and thanks for using cubeupload Gabriel Cubeupload

If you are able to share a screenshot with us that would be very useful. We would like to ask Malwarebytes why our page was incorrectly tagged as containing malware.

And here is some more confirmation . . . by NIS. Cubeupload is a safe site.

This is the screen shot as requested... when I go to the Orton Effect thread and hover over the entry made by Helen this is what pops up...

If everything is fine I am quite happy to exclude the site in Malwarebytes. As I said I have not had any response yet in their forum.

That's correct Helen. In fact I just need to open that thread and the pop up appears.
It happens whether I use Firefox or the new Microsoft Edge browser.

In fact I just need to open that thread and the pop up appears. We could use some clarification. I understood the problem you reported was about not seeing "uploads on here from anyone I think may be using this site", i.e., using Cubeupload. There are posts in that thread with images uploaded via other photo-sharing websites. Are you saying that now the problem has extended to our forum itself? It is now affecting one of our threads?

Sorry for not being clear. No the problem has not extended to the forum itself. The pop up seems to appear on a page of a thread where the U.cubeupload site has been used to upload a photo.
As in the case of the Orton Thread. When I open that thread the pop up appears and goes away after a few seconds but when I scroll down the page to Helens upload all I see is a little square with what looks like a torn paper in it and when I hover over that with my mouse the pop up appears again.

Thanks for all the information and the welcome! Sorry that you're getting this, I would go ahead and exclude the domain. We will be in touch with Malwarebyte - Normally these things are automated so I'm not sure how responsive they will be.

Normally these things are automated so I'm not sure how responsive they will be. Thank you cubeupload for your concern re this matter. I can’t say I’m impressed by the Malwarebytes forum. Apparently a request has been made by an ‘Elite’ member and a ‘Forum Deity’ to move my post to the False Positive section of the forum. I have looked at the 4 different sections there and so far can’t see my post. Should I eventually get a response I will update this thread but don’t hold your breath. In the meantime I will take your advice and exclude the domain. Thanks again for your interest.
