Firstly and most importantly thanks to hmca for organising Image of the Week and thank you to everyone who posted such a variety of great pictures for me to look at and attempt to judge.
My runners up are the two beautiful yellow flower images submitted by Yvonne and dandc and the cow from drjoerogers What can I say about these three images except that I am a sucker for Nature! All three Images share some great photography techniques namely brilliant cropping and excellent contrast for largely monochromatic images -Well done they all stand out and are works of art.

My Image of the Week for this week is Glass with Water by fotofrank Orange and Blue together are cheerful and harmonious and create eye-catching contrast because they are one of the three complementary colour pairs i.e. colours opposite each other on the colour wheel (the other complementary pairs are are red and green; purple and yellow) This is a brilliant Image and I love it
