Hi everyone, Nana on a Dolphin, a sculpture by Niki de Saint Phalle, hails from the Missouri Botanical Garden in St. Louis. Experiment, and most of all, have fun with it. Let your creative juices flow!

Frank, you got this challenge to a great start. I love the abstract effect you achieved. Frame and hang this on the wall!

Sepiana, your starter is so attractive that I didn't like to make changes to the sculpture itself, just concentrated on the background.
Filter-Pixelate-Crystallize applied regionally; Topaz Restyle to enhance color.

Rita, great idea applying the Crystallize filter selectively. You created a masterpiece. Beautiful work!

Thanks, Sepiana. BTW, I was quite interested to learn that any of this artist's work is in the US. She is quite well known in Europe, especially Italy, but seems to be almost unknown in this country.

BillieJean, nice combo of techniques/effects. I really like the OOB "touch".

Rita Rita, I guess her work is too "feminist" for some people. To tell you the truth, I was not familiar with her work until I went to see that exhibition. I just fell in love with it -- the bold colors, the shapes, the materials she used, and most particularly, the role women played in her work. And she had no formal training in art? Amazing!!!

kdcintx, this is art with a flair. I love this effect -- the colorization (neon-like?) and the sense of motion. Beautiful!

- Ran my Color Sketch action. - Applied the Emboss filter (Filter>Stylize). - Applied the Poster Edges filter (Filter>Artistic). - Applied a Gradient Map by Blake Rudis. - Created the frame effect with Filter Forge.

An attempt at latte art Pete, this is a winner on two counts -- idea and execution. You never cease to surprise me! Great job!
Do you mind sharing how you achieved this effect?
