I'm working on a photo (.jpg) and I edited using the Camera Raw filter in PSCC. If I want to adjust an edit, is there anyway to go back to camera raw and see and change my previous edits?
Thanks!

Are you on PSE12 or 13 ? I'm away from home and I can't test and check it now with Photoshop, but logically if you use the 'Open in Camera raw' option to open the files, they should open in ACR with the last settings saved in the metadata header of the jpeg file. The real question is how the edits have been saved in Photoshop. Either they have been written to the jpeg original files, just like when you click 'Done' in the ACR dialog of Elements, or they have been further edited in Photoshop or Elements, then the settings are 'cooked' into a new jpeg version which loses the ACR edits.

Thanks for the reply, Michel. Currently, I am using PHOTOSHOP CC. I opened the .jpg in Photoshop, then went to the filter menu to do edits using the camera raw dialogue. I may just have to start from scratch and chalk it up to a lesson learned.

I tried changing the image into a smart filter and it didn't work either. I even tried my preset "as opened" then made changes and clicked the preset..... nope, nada, Rats! If someone knows how to make this happen, jump in here and tell us!

I may be wrong but I don't think you can. This is not what Adobe had in mind when it designed this filter. This should shed some light on this issue. Camera Raw as a Photoshop Filter

Camera Raw as a Photoshop FilterIt does work in Photoshop CC with some limitations. If you open a jpeg in Camera Raw (File>Open As and select Camera Raw) and then make your Camera Raw edits and say Done the next time you open the file in Camera Raw it will open with the adjustments you made earlier and you can tweak them further. What you likely did is open and save the file which bakes in the changes so the sliders go back to zero when you next reopen in Camera Raw.
You can also do it as a Smart Filter on any layer in which case having converted the layer to a Smart Object you use Filter > Camera Raw Filter on the Smart Object. You then need to save it as a PSD file in order to be able to reopen the Smart Object - saving as a JPEG or flattening the file would just bake in the adjustments and you'd be starting Camera Raw at 0 again.

Thanks for all the information. I will know what to do when this comes up again.
