CHROME has been my default browser for quite some time; alas, for several days now, I have not been able to access this site via CHROME.
As CHROME was quickly snapping into anywhere else I wanted to go, I just thought that maybe some maintenance or such was taking place and didn't give it much thought.
Then, after trying several times today, I opened FireFox and was here quicker than I could tell about it.
A couple years ago, the very reason I got CHROME was that it would snap into this site quickly when I-E wouldn't connect with it at all; FireFox always would connect with the site, but CHROME did it blazingly quick.
I don't know what has happened now to cause CHROME to not access the site.
The address appears in the CHROME search-bar and the PSE&M icon shows up on the window tab, but the little circle just goes round and round and never gains any ground.
Am I the only one experiencing this ?

Hmm, odd, I use Chrome here at work and at home and have none of those issues.

I also use Chrome. I haven't had any problems. As a matter of fact, I am using Chrome to post this.

After making a few posts today using FireFox, I tried CHROME a couple more times and still no go; it seems to be working for anywhere else I have needed to go.

My default browser is Firefox and I occasionally use Chrome. I just went to this this forum as guest using Chrome and it works fine.
The first question one should ask is what version of Chrome are you using?
I am using "Version 62.0.3202.94 (Official Build) (64-bit)" and it works fine on this web site.

Thanks! Sepiana; that site just in general is a really good find; lots of interesting reading.

Sounds like maybe your browser cache, cookies or some setting have been flushed. fwiw, there is little difference in speed between Firefox and Chrome on my computer. Both are very fast.

Tried Chrome this morning and it worked - although, not blazingly fast - but fast enough. I usually use Safari.

I hear.... well, actually, I read good things about Safari; am I correct in assuming that Safari is a MAC-only thing ?

When a browser "acts up", I tend to follow those suggestions -- clear browsing history, cookies, etc. and, if necessary, I restore the default settings.

Safari (web browser)
