Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread.

- Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else.
- Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation.
- Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.

Taken this morning at the local shopping mall.   A Snow Globe for the festive season.  I take this opportunity to wish Sepiana and all Elements members a very Happy Christmas.

Dennis, what a finding -- an oversized snow globe! Great capture, colorful, and detailed! Including the two people in your composition was very effective; it really highlights the size of the snow globe.

Bill, an "army" of Santa Claus figurines? Amazing! Great DOF and spot-on focus! The B&W conversion resulted in a very intriguing image, a very unique one.

I am curious. Where on earth did you find this?

Thanks Sepiana.  It's a display in a store window downtown.  The figures all light up of course, but I was there very (very) early in the morning when things were still dark.  Thanks again for the nice words.

Andy, perfect for this week's theme! I really like how you "narrowed down" on the mailbox but still let us see some of the other decorations. Very effective composition! The portrait orientation is a bonus.
