Thanks Helen for getting back with the settings. It's amazing that it is so noise free when you were using an ISO of 3200! One more question I would like to ask is what kind of post processing (if any) did you do on it? Every time I look at the image I am just completely blown away by it.

Sydney , unfortunately I'm not one of those people who save layers so I don't remember much of what I did. I know I started with Define and converted to B/W with Silver EFex. I do remember that I then selected the man and used both a levels adjustment and high pass sharpening just on him. It appears I may have added a glow or Orton effect to the rest of the image. I will attach a copy of the unedited original.

Cheers Helen, really appreciate that. You have done some tremendous work on this. It is absolutely an image to hang and frame (and also to put into your PSE&M gallery)

Frustration... I've been spending a couple of months trying to make good backups of all my home DVD's.

Frustration... I've been spending a couple of months trying to make good backups of all my home DVD's. Andy, very original choice of theme. Great composition, DOF, and B&W conversion. An image to be placed on the wall!
