ATTENTION!!!
There is no longer a "next Sunday" posting deadline. You can grab your camera, take your photo, and post it in this thread any time you wish to.
Hi everyone,
Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread.
- Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.
NOTE
This week’s theme was a joint suggestion by Dennis and Brenda -- dennis9 . (Thanks, Dennis and Brenda!) In their own words, this is what the Telling the Time theme is all about.

The clock on top of the local town hall and theatre. Somewhere I have a picture of it being taken down to be repaired a few years ago - a major and expensive operation that involved closing the main street and bringing in a huge crane to lift it off and lower it to the ground. It's kept good time ever since! It really was noon when I took this shot. Tony

Students at Portland State believe the time is now. Thanks for the timely theme Sepiana, Dennis and Brenda. Bill, WOW! What an emotion-laden image as well as one of historical significance! I love the way you got the two together in your composition -- the students' walkout + the clock. Perfect timing!

Take notice of the church clock and don't be late for your baptism, wedding, funeral..... and Sunday morning service. Dennis Dennis, what a finding! Great idea shooting from that angle and capturing two clocks. It reinforces your "Take notice . . . and . . . don't be late". The details on the church walls are amazing!

Tony, I love how you captured all the intricate architectural details on both the clock and the tower (as well as your symmetry "touch" in the second shot). And the history behind the clock? It makes your images more meaningful.

It's that grandfather clock again - from a different angle. Milly wasn't too happy at me resting my head on her, while I was laid flat out on the floor. What I do for PSE & More. The weights are a bit battered - but they are almost 100 years old.

whippet, nicely done! Great idea -- to use the same subject but from a different angle. I really like it!
