There is no longer a "next Sunday" posting deadline. You can grab your camera, take your photo, and post it in this thread any time you wish to.
Hi everyone,
Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread.
- Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.

That's a beautiful flower, kdcintx! I don't think I've seen one....but then I'm not as up on flowers as I should be!

I really like your interpretation, Bill.
What beautiful butterflies and flowers kdcintx. I am sure we don't have either in the UK.

Tulip season is starting to wind down. Thanks for the theme Sepiana. Bill, what a beautiful capture of the short life of a tulip! Great DOF and spot-on focus. Another job well done (as usual)!

After another blast of winter, spring is here with wildflowers and butterflies. Hair streak butterflies on green antelopehorn milkweed Top view of a bluebonnet kdcintx, great images! You really brought up the detail in the flowers. The butterflies in the first shot are a bonus. I love how you captured the top view of the bluebonnet. Very creative!

Spring is arriving reluctantly this year. But all the signs are there....
Dennis
Dennis, two beautiful shots! Amazing details, great DOF, and a simple composition (uncluttered). I love how you captured the water drops (dew?) in the second shot.

Here's a "Seasonal Change" for you to ponder. 75° on Thursday. This was taken on Friday. Monday is supposed to be 80°. That's a lot of change this season.

Like many other areas the seasonal changes here are running late but the signs are there. As I was out checking the see if the ice storm at the weekend had done any damage (we were lucky - it hadn't unlike many other areas) I was pleased to find the maple trees had decided spring was coming and it was time to flower. Maple tree flowers aren't too impressive until you get up close and personal which I did with the help of a macro lens. Tony

I love the way you went about capturing those maple tree flowers -- minimalist composition, up close & personal, the branch going diagonally across the frame. The "cropped square" choice was perfect for this image.

Although it may not feel like Spring at 47 at least it's starting to look like Spring! Helen, beautiful image! I really like the simple composition (uncluttered) and the way you have the branch coming into the frame. I envision this image displayed on a wall.
