Question:
I would like to keep one layer visible but hide all the others. I know I can just click on the eye icon for each layer I want to hide. However, this can be tedious if a file has many layers. Is there a more efficient (time-saving) way to do this? Answer:
Yes. Take your pick!
- Select the layer you want to keep visible. - Alt/Option-click on the eye icon for that layer. (All the other layers will be hidden except the selected one.)
OR
- Right-click on the eye icon for the layer you want to keep visible. - Select "Show/hide all other layers" in the drop-down menu.
NOTE:
To reverse the process, i.e., to make all the other layers visible again, just repeat the steps delineated above.

Thanks for this info. I've been clicking and then dragging over every individual layer to turn them off. This will make a big difference.
