There is no longer a "next Sunday" posting deadline. You can grab your camera, take your photo, and post it in this thread any time you wish to.
Hi everyone,
Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread.
- Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.

Thanks for the theme Sepiana. Portland had a simply gorgeous day today ... perfect for an outdoor lunch hour concert on the campus. We're back to much cooler and rainy on Thursday, but for today and tomorrow, wow!!

Wind chimes. Don't know if these qualify or not. I have two Woodstock chimes outdoors, and the sound of them is lovely. The one on the left here was moved for the photo, as it was against a window, and couldn't be seen properly.

We're back to much cooler and rainy on Thursday, but for today and tomorrow, wow!! Bill, great composition and tonal range! I love how you captured the musician looking across (towards the right edge of the canvas). It emphasizes the "concert" angle -- with the audience off the canvas, enjoying their lunch and the music.

I really like how you went for a narrow portrait-orientation; it follows the vertical lines of the chimes.

This mockingbird was singing a complete opera kdcintx, what a shot! A mockingbird, a world-class singer! Great composition -- simple (minimalist), yet very effective. I can almost hear the mockingbird sing.

This has made a lot of music over the years. Tony Tony, beautiful image! Great DOF and perspective/angle (with the keys going diagonally across the frame). I love it! I envision this image hanging on the wall.

Andy , what a shot! Awesome clarity, details, and DOF. You captured such a piece of Americana. It spells . . . Summertime!
