In case anyone is wondering what "power cycle" means, in layman's language it means "reboot" or turn the power off, wait about 10 seconds and turn the power back on.
They also say that rebooting is only a temporary fix, not a permanent fix if you are unlucky to have been affected.
Reading between the lines and with the absence of urgency or panic in issuing notifications of the attacks in this part of the world, I feel the chances of being affected are small if you have adequate firewall and anti-virus protection.
