Image Of the Week- May 28 - June 3 2018

There were 20 images to choose from this week and every one of them was great, I had such a hard time just shortlisting them and discarding some such as the light/dark flamingo, land trust bridge, old stone barn and the lil fisherman was very hard.

My runners up for image of the week are ‘untitled’ by Andy The canvas texture is used to great effect and I love the green foliage providing a natural frame to this beautiful train, ‘Among the leaves so green’ by dandc Perfect Effects is a brilliant program and all your pictures are super Dan (I would have championed your ‘female red-tailed hawk’ but it wasn’t in my week!!) and ‘Once Upon a Time - This Was Someone's Home’ by Sepiana  - I love the framing merging into the wispy cobwebby trees that suit the image subject so well.



My image of the week is ‘Lilacs’ by blackmutt – Simply beautiful, the colour of the flowers are shown off so well by the black background and the side lighting from the left. The soft focus effect is just right. Who said still life was boring!
