I need assistance with installing Nik Collection in PSE 2018. Probably going to embarrass myself...had a computer at home for 35 years, but I am a user vs a techy. I can be dangerous poking around the bowels of the OS. Thanks for previous comments. Sepiana recently wrote: Copying/pasting the Google folder into the Plug-Ins folder will work for Windows users as well. However, this will not work in Clive's situation. Why? Because PSE 11 is a 32-bit program and PSE 2018 is 64-bit. C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 11\Plug-Ins\ . . . C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 2018\Plug-Ins\ . . . This means that the Nik plug-ins (.8bf files) installed in PSE 11 are the 32-bit version. 32-bit plug-ins are not compatible with 64-bit programs. In this case, you need to run the installer (.exe file). The installer will do the job because it is designed to install both the 32-bit and the 64-bit version of the plug-ins. It will check the host program and will install the plug-ins accordingly." you need to run the installer (.exe file)." There are no [installer __.exe] files in the Adobe folder or Plug-In folder that I can find. Did a *.exe search in the Adobe main folder.
There is likely a simple way to find and do what I need. Your assistance is appreciated. Thanks, Clive

The installer should be with the NIK utility- that's what will let you choose (or will autoselect) the 64-bit version you need.

The installer (.exe file) won't be in those folders. When you downloaded the Nik Collection from their website, where did you store it on your computer? Downloads, Documents, etc.? That's where you need to look for it.
Or see you can find it in . . . C:\Program Files\Google\Nik Collection\. . .

Thanks MM.
No "install" .exe files in either PSE 11 or PSE 2018 other than the PSE executable files (PSE ___.exe and transportlog.exe). Installed Nik a few years ago into PSE 11 so can't recall how it was done.

Thanks for your help Sepiana. I've downloaded the 30-day trial version on hopes an installer will come with. Their website suggests that there are no longer free downloads (such as installer) or support for non paid versions. I'll give this a try and let you know. Thanks again. Clive
