ATTENTION!!!
There is no longer a "next Sunday" posting deadline. You can grab your camera, take your photo, and post it in this thread any time you wish to.
Hi everyone,
Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread.
- Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.
NOTE
This week’s theme was a suggestion by Pete (Peterj ). Thanks, Pete!

Over 100 years old but recently renovated and sits outside the local "Legion" . Not exactly WYSIWYG as I did "move" the sign to fit better in the frame. Tony

18th-century French fortress at Louisbourg on Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. June 22, 2011 Hugely authentic reconstruction. Was a fun day.

My dad was a master navigator instructor in the US Air Force, he was extremely proud of his achievement. Here's a hand hooked wall hanging he made.
He liked to say that a senior navigator's wings had the star without the wreath and that the wreath was added to the master's wings to protect his grandchildren from getting poked by the points.

Here's a Civil War re-enactment capture Pete, great interpretation of this week's theme! I really like the angle (perspective of your shot). Simple composition yet effective.
I am assuming they are Confederates (due to the uniforms they are wearing). Am I on the right track?

The intersection of Military and Military, taken this morning. Thanks Sepiana and Pete! Bill, great thinking out of the box! "Cropped square" was perfect for your subject with all its lines (vertical, horizontal, etc.). Quite a shot!

Pete, this image takes top honors for the personal history behind it. I really like how you captured this wall hanging -- zooming in to highlight its design, texture, and the hand hooked work.

Cobra helicopter mounted overlooking the Veterans Memorial Plaza. Bob, what a finding to fulfill this week's theme! You chose the perfect angle to capture the Cobra. Great shot!
Pleased to see you back here.
