Special thanks to PeterJ for mentioning ICE today. (RE: pano issues with PSE 2018.) I've used ICE a few times and in case you've not seen it before, I am posting a couple of examples. Image Composite Editor (ICE) is an advanced panoramic image stitcher created by the Microsoft Research Computational Photography Group. Here. Don't think it works with Macs...maybe. The cool part is it can be used to stitch photos shot in a grid, i.e. up and down and sideways. ICE stitches fast and seamlessly. The image of Fay Canyon Arch in Arizona was made from 39 images shot in tight quarters. (As I recall my 16-mm lens was in the shop when we went away and I was using an ancient 28-mm lens...about 40-mm full-frame equivalent.) The walls are tight and even with a wide angle it is impossible to get it all in. BTW, you don't even have to shoot in a planned grid (although that helps to cover a scene). You can shoot away randomly...the Fay Canyon pictures were shot quite randomly.) The top two images are from 16 photos I took this afternoon. You get the idea of the grid shooting and the result. The bottom is Fay Canyon Arch shot in 2014, near Sedona, Arizona. Thanks again to Peter. Clive Result...Fay Canyon Arch ... from 39 images

I watched the video. The results and versatility of ICE look incredible. Thanks for sharing.
