My Elements seemed to be slowing down when I brought in multiple files to Editor. This also slowed my computer to a crawl.
Upon checking which process were running and what was taking up resources, I discovered the auto creations were running.
I went into Organizer, Edit, Preferences, Media Analysis and disabled the run face recognition automatically feature, and the generate auto creations feature.
.....so far, both my computer and Elements are running much faster.
