ATTENTION!!!
There is no longer a "next Sunday" posting deadline. You can grab your camera, take your photo, and post it in this thread any time you wish to.
Hi everyone,
Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread.
- Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.

December is when …. Santa comes to town. It was last Saturday so not quite this week - but it was December 1st It has become something of a local tradition that kids get to have their picture taken with Santa at the local community centre with our local camera club doing the photography. We do it with 2 cameras tethered to two laptops running Lightroom and printing 4x6's with two Selphy printers. Lighting is with off-camera flashes. With that set-up we can turn out a print in under a minute and this year took and printed around 120 shots of kids with Santa in just over an hour. Here's one of my set-up shots of Santa before the kids arrived … Tony

December is when . . . the Nikka Yuko Japanese Gardens (Lethbridge, Alberta) start their Winter Lights Festival. There are 115,000 LED lights artistically arranged in the trees and landscape. We had a nice walkabout this evening.

Kudos to you!
