Hi everyone, Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. - Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.

Theme #200!?!?!?!?!Holy moly Sepiana .. that's a sign in itself that you've been doing this for a long time!! Thank you so much. You're efforts at keeping us all looking for the next shot are very much appreciated. Here are a few signs. The window decal, the neon and the hanging sign being blown around by this morning's gusts.

Mrs B. and I are currently in Wuxi, China. This is the view from our apartment of some signs. I have no idea what the signs say, but I assume they are the names of the shops below.

After the recent weather (cold and windy + snow) it was nice to see signs of spring appearing on the maple trees in the area - buckets to collect the sap to turn into maple syrup. It was so cold today that any sap collected had frozen and I did spot a squirrel enjoying a frozen sap icicle but they wouldn't stick around for a photo. It is supposed to warm up next week and then the sap will really run. Tony

Strolling around the Wuxi city centre today we came across this fishpond. I think the sign translates to something like "Please do not feed the fish and no photographs"

@ Bailey. What on earth are they doing? Looks as though they are going to eat them. (Like they do, greyhounds).

It's getting hard to find old service stations but this one is still around although, despite the sign, not open for business. It has become a resting place for old cars and people who work on them as well as a popular spot for photographers! Here's a collection of some of the many old signs to be found there. Tony

In spite of the chilly temperatures and the gale force winds, here come the first signs of spring: the first leaves just starting to appear on these willow trees and the blue sky with its promise of warmer weather to come.

It seems blindingly obvious, but these signs are invaluable to any walker. What would I, in particular, do without them!

The sign post was put at the Village Green in 1910. More than 50 years ago, the A19 was re routed, as it became a major north/south dual carriageway. It is now about half a mile away.
The barber shop is quite close to the Green.
The work signs were put there yesterday, and will remain outside my drive gates for ten days.

Bill, what a finding -- signs for a shoe repair shop! A contemporary urban scene with a touch of nostalgia. Great capture. I love it!
Thanks for the kind words! I sincerely appreciate them. Unbelievable, isn't it? 200 WP challenges!

Bailey, nicely done. The downward angle makes this a unique shot.

Tony, I love your take on Signs -- signs of spring. Great capture! The focus on the bucket is spot-on.

Tony, this is a gem! So vintage! The sign details are so clear; I just keep going back to read them.
