Hi everyone,
Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread.
- Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.
NOTE
This week’s theme is about including a human element in your shot. You have a lot of leeway; it can be a landscape, a street scene, a lifestyle shot, etc. So, grab your camera and go looking for a human element (elusive or not)! The inspiration for this theme came from an image by Brenda (dennis9 ).

Bill, you are most welcome!
I am looking forward to your submission(s) for this theme. Interestingly enough, I thought of you when I posted this challenge. It brought to mind the photos in your SmugMug gallery, the ones from your trip to Cuba. You have an eye for a human element!

Here's a quick shot (well, 3.5 seconds) of some peeps in the coffee shop just now. I'll probably add as the week goes on.

Helen, I really like your take on this week's theme; you captured the human element at work. Really nice shot -- looking down at your subject.

Note: Slightly reluctant to post this because I do not know these people. Today, I attended the regional hospital to visit our DIL. I schlepped my camera inside and took a few pictures. These two folks were sitting off to the side in the atrium. (Ignore the EXIF. I screwed up the settings. Short version, ISO was set at 3,200 and did not need to be. Operator error.)

Chinook Regional Hospital, Lethbridge, Alberta. March 26, 2019. Hospital worker going in for the afternoon shift. Or someone going to visit. Or?

Clive, a poignant yet beautiful image! The kind of image that elicits an emotional response from the viewer; it makes the viewer stop and think.
