The title limits this to Win10 because I also use Linux and don't have this issue.
There's a current problem on the Firefox end ... they've install a new certificate that disables plugins such as LastPass. Mozilla is working on the remedy.
Patience is called for here ... Mozilla will have this fixed soon!

Yes I am experiencing this problem on both my Desktop and Laptop. I Googled it yesterday and found that many others also have the problem. As you say Pete patience is called for and I'm sure Mozilla will come up with a fix eventually. The good thing is I can still use Firefox which is my browser of preference.

Most reputable browser add-ons will be compatible with multiple browsers. If you need access to an add-on while Mozilla fix the issue try installing it on another browser. Google Chrome is close to if not the most widely used browser nowadays.

Mozilla have rolled out a fix this morning. I've updated my Desktop and will get to my laptop later. So I'm happy I got my chosen theme back again...

Summary: * Update by clicking menu item Help then About * Restart FF * Check if your extensions are working if not * Click on menu item Tools | add-ons * Click on each remove option followed immediately by undo
Even though Mozilla released this fix my extensions failed to work. Additionally the fix is an updated version #66.0.4; when I checked by clicking in the menu help then about my version remained at 66.0.3.
I had to initiate the update sequence. Once updated to 66.0.4 the extensions still didn't work. I went to tools menu | add-ons and found a list of the extensions installed, but with no option to enable. I chose one and clicked remove, then immediately clicked undo - this action restored my extensions to working status.

My Trend Micro password manager stopped working in Firefox 2 days ago but still worked without problems in Google Chrome. I am using Windows 7 Home Premium.
I simply updated to the latest version of FF and the password manager reappeared automatically and works OK.
Maybe your Linux OS was causing some problem in re-enabling your add-on.

The Linux OS has no connection as it's on a physically different computer.
I probably caused these complications my self by attempting to downgrade BEFORE reading about the certificate problem in Firefox.
I suspect that if I had simply used Chrome for a day or so all would have been back to normal!
Having a second browser is always a good idea!

I guess it might have been confusing for some visitors because the FF issue was not restricted to Win 10 as you mentioned in your op. It existed on other operating systems as well.
And yes I have multiple browsers on my desktop because I need to test that Web pages I build or modify for Web sites display correctly in the more popular browsers.
But in any case I would recommend having at least a second browser installed for the rare times an issue like this FF issue pops up.
