Sorry for being a day late once again, but hope my little selection is of interest, although I'm going to have to rattle through them in haste I'm afraid but will try to do justice to my thoughts. I know we say this every week but what a great array of varied and gorgeous images once again; it was a struggle to select. Angelag's Evening Reflection: i.ibb.co/9rqmxhj/MG-8584-Edit.jpgA simple composition of a frame within a frame, although extra interest because of the square window within a rectangular frame, accentuated by the horizontal slats. And then that stunning rainbow effect in the window. Brilliantly spotted and then brilliantly executed. hmca's Flowers in the Pitcher: u.cubeupload.com/HMCA/DSC2827GraceTexture.jpgWhat can I say, this is just strikingly beautiful. Lovely delicate flowers with subtle pastel colours and lighting. And the pitcher itself, although taking a lot of space is ethearily subtle. An artistic still life at its very best. But my IOW is Blackmutt's Tiny Jewels: i.ibb.co/fxY1DyJ/DSC-4836.jpgAn image that you need to really study to work out what it exactly is. Sometimes when you have those types of image there is nothing to draw you in and make you want to look, but the shimming jewel-like drops of this do just that. Love the sharpness of every detail, the bokeh and the composition that pulls your eye around the frame with details making you want to explore it all and never end. Really looking forward to next week and what more jewels will be presented.

Let me start off by saying that I am so appreciative of the members who continue to volunteer as an IOW judge. Posting your selections can be done on Sunday or Monday, depending on what works best for your particular schedule. So there is no need to apologize, Alex. No matter when the post is made, that judge notifies the next person to judge as to the last image considered. That way the new judge starts with the next image submitted to the individual galleries and no one's work is ever not included in the process.
As always, I like reading the thoughtful commentary that you choose to include when posting your selections, Alex. I am pleased to see my image included with two wonderful captures this week. Congratulations to Angela and Judy....very unique images.

Alex Thanks for judging this week, for including my reflection and for your kind comments. Congratulations to Helen for a beautiful flower arrangement (ethereal is right!) and especially to Judy for her IoW. I've often tried but never succeeded to capture raindrops but you did it brilliantly!

All intriguing photographs. Angelag's window shot is book-cover-ish. Good eye. Helen's calming flower picture could in an office or be on the face of a greeting card. As alexr noted "you need to really study to work out what it exactly is" ... only takes half a second to figure out the dew drops...but then are they on a leaf ... or some fury alien creature? Nice work all.

Alexr thank you for judging as Helen stated. More should join in, its easy. You can pick whatever YOU like! Enough of my soapbox speech . Thank you for selecting my image this week. I was supposed to be weeding but this fuzzy leafy weed caught my eye and once I was done weeding around it I grabbed my camera put on my macro lens with one section of an extension tube and snapped away. Black and white just seemed to work better than color Again, thank you and to all the nice comments. The other two honorees- nice jobs!
