Lightroom 6

Looking for a laptop to run LR6.  The specs mention it will need GL3.3 and Direct X 10.  When looking at the specs of laptops I don't see either of these being mentioned.  What else could they be named or what do I look for to see if the computer has it

Hi Gary. I think direct x 10 is part of windows 7 and not sure what version is on windows 8. Look at the graphics card that comes with the laptop to see specs for the GL version. I have the cc version of lightroom running on a intel core i7 with intel hd graphics card 4400 and it runs okay. I don't think the specs for CC or Lightroom 6 are different. Hope this helps

Those are graphics card requirements and any decent laptop you buy should support those. The specs you need probably aren't on the box - you would need to look at the specs online and see if they speak to the graphics card.
