Took a drive along the Lake Huron shore-line today. Lots of damage as the result of high water levels, cold temperatures and wave action from recent winter storms although the resulting ice sculptures can be rather photogenic. Here's an example of a damaged tree along the lake. Tony Tony, you captured a nature-made damage with a silver lining -- the resulting ice sculptures. Beautiful image!

Took a ride to Sandy Hook, part of the Gateway National Recreational Area. A former military base, the Federal Government has sadly neglected to fund for its maintenance or restoration. Already neglected it was further damaged by Hurricane Sandy in 2012. Helen, these images clearly show the extent of the damage. It is a shame these buildings are not being restored; they are a piece of American history.

My son's mobile phone, with damage sustained when he dropped it yesterday while using it as a camera. Dennis Dennis, sorry to hear about this damage. It may be good timing for this theme but definitely not for your son's phone. Your shot clearly shows the damage.

I am moving everything for when I get my new computer tomorrow. I came across this picture of a derelict lodge at a cemetery gates. whippet, that's quite a lot of damage; the roof is practically gone. Thanks for acknowledging your photo came from your archives! Hopefully you will post back with a timely Damaged. Looking forward to it! Congratulations are in order! Enjoy your new PC!

A seriously damaged Scottish Haggis following our celebration of Burns Night. With mashed swede and "tatties", it was delicious. And we are not even Scottish! Brenda Brenda, this interpretation takes top honors for originality -- the subject itself + the reason for the damage. Great job! I am not Scottish either but some of my friends are. So, we did have our celebration, with all the traditional dishes, and . . . . a few drams of whisky (or whiskey).

Posting this... it's an older photo but I can't retake it because the barn has since given up and fallen into a pile of old lumber. Taken back in 2010 just days after I bought my first DSLR.

Hi, I wanted to add my damaged photo, but I clicked on 'add image to post' button and got 'can't reach page'. Anybody want to enlighten me. Warning! I'm pretty dense, so use easily understood directions. Thanks for understanding. A favorite quote of mine - "You're not stupid, you're just new at this". That's me alright, TB

Hi TB , and welcome to our forum! It is appreciated that you want to participate and share your image, so I'm sorry you ran into trouble. I presume you clicked the Reply button, then the button labeled Add image to post via imgbb.com; is that correct?
I am trying it now... and I get a pop-up dialog that says "Drag and drop or paste images here to upload".
Please try it again and let me know how it goes.

You mean try it here? I should go to my photos, copy then back here to paste? Know nothing about drag - drop. Well, copy/paste didn't work and browse from my pc just gave me a bunch of numbers. Might try again, later. Is this like adding photo attachment to an email? TB

Rick, simply beautiful! Great composition and B&W processing. It is a pity this barn is no longer there. Thanks for acknowledging this image came from your archive!
