Hi everyone, Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. - Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun. NOTE
The idea behind this week’s theme is to capture a subject which has been damaged. It can be a man- or a nature-made subject.

About 3 years ago, I met a young lady, and it was an instant hit!!! She was texting, while driving, and decided to turn into a gas station, and here is the result! While damage looks pretty minimal, Insurance wrote the car off, as once all the airbags blow, it is considered a write-off! I had a dash cam, and there was no question about fault, when both Insurance Companies saw the video, the claim was settled very quickly! Best investment I ever made was the dashcam!!! i.ibb.co/XztmtXW/DSC-2810.jpg

It is a PapaGo, GoSafe118, and if memory serves me correctly, the cost was around $75. four years ago. As with most electronics, today they are likely less costly and will do more!

Thanks for the dash cam info WayneS This old mobile home makes no sense. It is on the edge or a huge grain field. There is no lane to it and it is at least 1 km from the nearest farmyard. Perhaps a farmer got a good deal on an old trailer and possibly used it as a lunch room at harvest ... even that idea is a stretch. Qualifies as damaged. Photographed January 22, 2020 near Fort MacLeod, Alberta.

Took a drive along the Lake Huron shore-line today. Lots of damage as the result of high water levels, cold temperatures and wave action from recent winter storms although the resulting ice sculptures can be rather photogenic. Here's an example of a damaged tree along the lake. Tony

I am moving everything for when I get my new computer tomorrow. I came across this picture of a derelict lodge at a cemetery gates.

A seriously damaged Scottish Haggis following our celebration of Burns Night. With mashed swede and "tatties", it was delicious. And we are not even Scottish! i.ibb.co/JsRRZc6/Haggis-2.jpgBrenda

Wayne, this is not only an interpretation of Damaged but it is also a great advice for drivers out there -- "Don't text and drive". Thanks for acknowledging this photo came from your archives. Feel free to come back here and post a timely photo, hopefully not one involving a property of yours.
