Hi everyone, It has been reported that, when you access this forum, you are being redirected to another website claiming that your OS (Windows) needs to be updated/fixed and offering to fix it . . . or else. This is a tech support scam!
If this happens to you, please, report it in this thread or in the Contact the Forum Admins board. As this kind of redirect usually targets a certain location (region), operating system, or browser, we ask that you provide the following information when reporting it. - Your location (country). - Your Windows version. - The browser you are using.

Thanks for letting us know. So far, I haven't had any problems in the U.S. with Windows 7 and Firefox

ProBoards, our host, seems to have taken care of the problem reported above by Sepiana . They are very responsive to their users; I am quite grateful for their great competence and commitment! However, a PSE&M member is experiencing another serious type of redirection whenever they click on an image that was posted using the Add image to post via imgbb.com button.
If you experience this behavior we would appreciate you letting us know, either here or by posting in the Contact the Forum Admins board.
Thank you for your continued support and participation!

Had another "Update Adobe Flash" non-closable page when logging in to the PSE&M forums. Fortunately, I could still close the tab. I removed all traces of Flash on the Mac for several months ago. The page certainly look official, but the domain proved its true source. I double-checked and found my VPN was no connected.

The problem seems to stem from PSE&M. For me, more so with Safari than Chrome.
