Is there an easy way to add a photo to a private message?

Berie, the easiest way to send an image to someone via a message is to send the message in two parts. For whatever reason when you start a message the add image to post button is not visible. However, if you then reply to your initial message the link to add a photo is at the bottom of the reply. See if that works for you. I am sure others may have had the same issue.

I’m on a Windows PC and don’t know if it’s the same for a mac... Maybe I’m missing something here but I can add an image to an initial PM. First I click on the name of the person I want to PM. In the next screen I click ‘Send Message’ along at the right hand end of the screen This results in the next screen where top right I can click the ‘Add image to post via imgbb.com’ button. Thereafter I would add an image as per the way Helen describes See below...

Berie, I can confirm you can add a photo to a PM in both situations. When starting a PM: The "Add image to post via imgbb.com" button will be available once you click on the "Send Message" button on the top right corner of the recipient's Profile page. (See BillieJean's screen shot in her post). When replying to a PM: T The "Add image to post via imgbb.com" button will be available when you use the "Quick Reply" mode.

Thanks, Lillias. I usually create a message by going to messages in the top heading. When starting there I don't have the option to add an image unless I add a url. However, if I then reply to that message the option to add an image is available. So now Berie should have all options for messaging covered.
