Hi everyone, Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. - Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun. NOTEThis week's theme was suggested by tonyw . (Thanks, Tony!)

Thanks for the theme Sepiana and Tony. Here's Portland this morning. That's the Hawthorne Bridge on the left, crossing the Willamette River.

Here's another somewhat similar shot. It dawns on me that these are probably cityscapes, and not streetscapes. I'll try that tomorrow. ;-)

When I was thinking of a subject suggestion cityscape did come to mind but I changed it to streetscape simply because I don't live in a city and street works anywhere - city or country. So here's my townscape! Taken today with a fisheye lens while crossing the road and then cropped into a panorama. Tony

Our street in Coaldale, Alberta at 2:30 PM March 13, 2020. Been more or less snowless for a while, but a bitterly cold and snowy system has blown in. Clearing by Sunday??

Sorry, couldn't help it!!! HA! A pox upon thee sir! Kidding. Enjoy the warmth. I hope to get out in Sunday for a hike in the sunshine...albeit cold.

And now for something completely different. Setting aside that it's snowing in Portland, the photo is the reflective underside of a skywalk showing the street activity.

However, we can see glimpses of streets in the background and the bridge is after all a street over water. Putting all this aside, . . . beautiful tones, eye-catching composition, and smooth, silky water. Impressive work!

Tony Tony, I see it as streetscape, one which is beautifully captured, colorful, sharp. Great use of a fisheye lens!

You do have a photographer's eyes. What a creative viewpoint! I love it! This is for sure an image to hang on the wall.

roadscape....no traffic today or any other day for that matter Judy, I really like this image. It has a lot going for it -- leading lines, curves, portrait orientation, and . . . no traffic. It looks so peaceful!
