Budding yucca - periodic captures Pete, a very interesting choice of theme -- the same subject in periodic captures. Great thinking out of the box!

I'll go with the signs of spring theme - we need some good signs and these snowdrops at least show that warmer weather is on the way here … Tony Tony, we needed such signs and you succeeded in capturing them. Beautiful image -- sharp, clear details, well composed!

Store bought tulips - needed something pleasant in this crazy time! Judy, a beautiful image -- uncluttered composition, negative space, great lighting. A pleasure to the eyes!

When I grow up, I am going to be an awesome gator! Wayne, this takes the prize for theme originality -- a gator! I like how you captured him moving into the frame. Quite a shot!

Immersing oneself in a good book. Thanks for the versatile theme Sepiana, and letting us play indoors if needed. Bill, very original choice of theme coupled with a creative image. In one word, . . . impressive! I’m always intrigued by how you put these "little" characters to work. What’s the history behind them?

I will give you a story along with my theme - Famous last words - NO MORE DOGS About 11 years ago when we lost a dog, my husband told me - no more dogs. After a few months, he said I could have another, so long as it was a small whippet.
Enter - no more dogs number 1. Tasha was a whippet, but not a small one. Next time, exactly the same scenario. Enter no more dogs no.2 . Milly is a small whippet disguised as a greyhound. Enter No. 3, Jess, another not small whippet. After I lost my husband four years ago . . . Enter no more dogs no.4. Libby, another small whippet disguised as a greyhound.
I lost Tasha a year ago. But as she was number 1 - then she had to go on. The other three pictures were taken today.whippet, what a great choice of theme, one with a very touching history behind it! This is a priceless image, one to be cherished.

My theme for this week is "Community". In these times of fear and uncertainty, we have had ample proof of how our local community is pulling together to help anyone in need. We have already had two verbal offers of help with shopping from close neighbours, while these two written offers came today via the letterbox. How heartening to see people around you rallying around to help the older and more vulnerable among us. We, unfortunately, are in the former group and are having to practise "social distancing". Stay well, everybody! Brenda Brenda, you raised your photography to another level with this theme. This image is a beacon of light and hope in these dark times. Hope you share it with your community. Kudos to you and to them!

I saw some whimsical photos many years ago where little people appeared where they might not be suspected and it just began. That and a complete refusal to grow up! ;-) Thanks again for taking the time to comment on all of the photos.... it's appreciated!!
