I remember on the old Elements Village forum, there was an interesting thread about using FFT Filters (Fast Fourier Transform) to remove distracting patterns from scanned images or photographs. I have prepared a pdf document which includes various tutorials to explain how to use this technique with Image Analyser, the full Photoshop and Photoshop Elements. (32-bit and 64-bit versions) You can download the pdf with the tutorials here from my dropbox: www.dropbox.com/s/veovr1t60c6v210/Fast%20Fourier%20Transformation%20To%20Remove%20Patterns.pdf?dl=0I am sure many of you will find this technique useful for cleaning up some types of images. Have fun! Please see below an example of a before and after picture. Kind regards Chris PS. Those who have the 64-bit version of the full Photoshop (Mac or PC) will be pleased to know that a state-of-the-art action along with six 64-bit FFT 8BF filters are now available. The results are very impressive. Pattern Suppressor Tutorial www.youtube.com/watch?v=FDM4lEw65j0You can download the action and the other files here: ft.rognemedia.no/
