Hi everyone, Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. - Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun. NOTEThis week's theme was a joint suggestion by Dennis and Brenda -- dennis9 . (Thanks, Dennis and Brenda!)

Three of my essentials. The hearing aids and spectacles go with old age, and the mobile phone is a vital means of communication with my deaf son. Three cheers for texting! i.ibb.co/YLQfZ7k/3-E.jpgDennis

Getting seed in the ground at this time of the year is essential for farmers and the weather was just right for planting soybeans today: Tony

kdcintx, being a coffee lover, I quite agree. It's also a sign of our times (barista wearing a mask).

The latest and least loved of all the essentials in present day life. Brenda Brenda, yes, indeed! Unfortunately this essential is now a constant in our lives. Blame it on COVID-19!

Essential to me. Our summer lot is 250 meters or so from the community rec center where the signal receiver and router are located. There is line of sight from our lot to the hall with just a few trees in the way. About 10 years ago, I purchased this high-gain antenna that picks up the router signal and relays it to my laptop in my "shed/office." The connection is not fast, but quite reliable and adequate ... and free. The laptop runs Connectify software that creates a hotspot, so we have WiFi throughout our lot. I'll keep using it as long as it works. One day I might buy a cell tower hub and pay a monthly fee which would be much faster than what we have now. Shall see.
