Hi everyone, Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. - Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.

Here's a view of metal tank wagon that dates back to around 1890 and would have been horse drawn. Metal lasted longer than wood and didn't leak but was heavier so required more horsepower and sank on wet clay roads so wasn't too popular around here. Probably would have hauled oil or water originally - now it sits slowly rusting away! Tony

And for some B&W heavy metal - a single cylinder Ruston engine once used to pump crude oil down a pipe line. Probably built in the 1920's and was still running in the 1970's . With a bit of work it might still run again! Tony

Of course it would, Tony. Look where it was made.

This Mercury Meteor is made of metal. (Kind of a dandy accidental alliteration!) Thanks for the theme Sepiana!

Here's some metal I look at every day with much pleasure. It is one of the "Legends" series of sculptures, Johnson's Last Fight by C. A. Pardell. I acquired it over 30 years ago while working in Atlanta and it has been a treasured possession ever since. i.ibb.co/18qJQYt/266-Metal.jpgDennis
