I can't reply in the faq section, so I paste some of Tom's post here:

Sharing an image from Flickr in your individual Gallery:
Follow the steps outlined above, but understand that the size you select for the thumbnail will be the size of the image in your gallery; it will NOT be clickable.

After you click the Add Image button in your Gallery, paste the string you just copied (Ctrl-V) into the Image URL box. You will then need to delete some of the text so you are left with just the image URL. An example will help to make this clear; the string from Flickr will look something like this:



You need to delete all the stuff before the 2nd https, and everything after the jpg, so your link ends up looking like this:

https:// c1.staticflickr.com/9/8730/16737404124_2f5a25a970_c.jpg

Now just click the Add Image button.quote here

I found that I had to remove the "S" in https// so the adress would be:
http://c1.staticflickr.com/9/8730/16737404124_2f5a25a970_c.jpg

Hope this is understandable.

I believe Tom has worked it so you no longer have to delete the s.

Yep, that is the way it used to be (you know, way back before yesterday - LOL!).  The gallery plugin was updated to allow https as well as http; that is why that FAQ was updated.
