Question: Can we duplicate a layer style from one layer to another within a single image? Answer: Yes. There is more than one way to do it. Via the Layer menu (on the top bar):1. Click on the layer with the style you want to copy. 2. Go to Layer > Layer Style > Copy Layer Style. 3. Click on the layer you want to add the style to. 4. Go to Layer > Layer Style > Paste Layer Style. Via the Layers panel:1. Right-click on the layer with the style you want to copy. 2. Select "Copy Layer Style". 3. Right-click on the layer you want to paste the style on. 4. Select "Paste Layer Style". OR1. Hold down the Alt/Option key. 2. Click on the little fx icon for the style you want to copy. 3. Drag this icon onto the layer you want to apply the style to. NOTE Make sure you hold the Alt/Option key down. If you don't hold it down, the style won't be copied/pasted; it will be moved from one layer to the other.
