Not a problem looks like lots of texture to me! I was looking at some varnished wooden animals the other day and thinking how to emphasise the texture so will have to give it a try.

This was originally shot as much for the nail as for the wood. An old fence gate post that now lies with other discarded barnyard detritus behind the barn at my father-in-law's farm. Processed in Lightroom.  |

Those wooden baskets make for nice textures and, especially the first, looks good in black and white - the second does look a bit messy  Speaking of messy wood textures I spotted this old tree route in the river yesterday and had to stop for a pic - again I think it looks better in B&W than it did in colour.
