Where are Camera Profile commands

I want to use Camera Profiles in Elements 2019 > Camera Raw but cannot find the tab to click.



I can see many profiles e.g. Favorites, Artistic etc but not for individual cameras. I note that there are many in-built camera profiles at:-



C:\ProgramData\Adobe\CameraRaw\CameraProfiles\Camera



including those for some of my cameras; I wish to add the missing ones I created when I had these cameras. I will see how the in-built profiles compare with my home made ones.



However I need to find the commands to use the profiles.



Any advice please?

OK done some more investigating and found that in:-

C:\ProgramData\Adobe\CameraRaw\CameraProfiles\Camera\Index.dat

It seems I need to get my profiles added to this Index.dat file.

The entry for each profile is like this:-

/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CameraRaw/CameraProfiles/Camera/Sony DSC-RX10M3/Sony DSC-RX10M3 Camera Clear.dcp —²¢À-Ù
 model_restriction  Sony DSC-RX10M3 r

Camera is Sony RX10M3 and the Deep.dcp

I wish to add my:-

DSC-RX10M3 Xrite Daylight.dcp into Index.dat

I know I could just edit/copy/paste to get my .dcp file(s) into Index.dat but would think there is a better way that does not rely on my bodging.

Any advice please?

I've never done what you are looking for.

Before you touch that index.dat file I would strongly suggest you copy and save it somewhere else. Once you edit it there may be no going back.

Camera profiles created by ADOBE end in DCP user created profiles are XMP files

It is already backed up. I have the dcp files.
