. Reinstall PSE 2021 (This will get the original version back, the one before the update.) 2. Immediately after launching PSE 2021, go to Edit>Preferences>Application Updates> Turn on . . . Enable "Remind me Later" for updates. Hi I uninstalled PSE 2021 and I might have erred by going to the Adobe site and downloading it again. (I was not sure if the actual program files were still on my computer even thought it was uninstalled.) Anyway, I installed it again (including " 2. Immediately after launching PSE 2021"....) and the color picker is still flawed. So it's possible the current download contains the Feb 3 update. I did test the cropping tool and it work without crashing. Hope they offer an new update soon ... although there are work arounds and it does most things well. Gosh the Feb 3 update was a real wreck. Oh well. Comments welcome. Thanks Clive

pontiac1940, When you download Elements from the Adobe site, the .exe file is usually downloaded to "My Downloads". Then, you run the .exe file from there. Uninstalling Elements does not delete that .exe file. Look for it! Now you should have two .exe files (one for each download). You can check if your second download came with the Feb 3 update by going to Help > About Photoshop Elements. The Build Number for this update is 20210126.m.155261.

Thank you Sepiana, Definitely downloaded the updated version. I am unable to find another PSE 2021 *.exe file There is only one 200 MB exe in the PSE 2021 folder. Note sure that the lower (3MB) file is. All dated today. I'll be fine until they offer another update.
There seem to be only two actual PSE exe programs in my Programs folder, one each for 2018 and 2021. Found using Everything search software:

Found using Everything search software: Clive, I'm afraid there is some confusion here. First of all, the Everything search software didn't find the .exe file that matters.
The reason you can't find another PSE 2021 .exe file is because you were taken to the wrong place (C:\Program Files . . .). That's not where you look for the downloads you made. Adobe will download the .exe file to "My Downloads" (a File Explorer folder).
Find my downloads in Windows 10Those files were placed in C:\Program Files when you ran the .exe file you downloaded from Adobe to install PSE on your computer. When you uninstalled PSE 2021 , they were removed (along with all the other pertinent files).

Thanks Sepiana. Will look in a few hours. (Just had cataract surgery 👍👍👍, so won't do much for a while.)

Thanks for your ongoing assistance Sepiana ! I uninstalled the "second" install of PSE 2021. Then went to the downloads folder and started from here again and installed this. Alas, the new download/install is the Jan 26 release. Not a biggie. I am doing okay as is and will wait until the patch is released.

Yet something is amiss with the new install?!?!? A few weeks ago when I installed PSE 2021, I had to copy my custom © brushes from PSE 2018 to the presets/brushes folder in PSE 2021. Fine. Then yesterday and today, PSE 2021 was uninstalled two times and reinstalled. Those custom brushes are available in the version installed 3 hours ago and I never transferred them from 2018 yet. I do not get it. Something is amiss in what I am doing. Those brushes should not be in the new install of PSE 2021, yet there they are. I checked in the Adobe folder and PSE 2021 was shown as being new 3 hours ago. So are those custom brushes not actually uninstalled and kept in the background and copied into the new brushes folder?
This is not an problem (I hope): it is a curiosity.
