Hi everyone, Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. The rules are rather simple.
- Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.

Sutton High Street on a chilly Monday morning. The Covid restrictions mean that indoor eating and drinking are forbidden for the time being, so pop-up pavement cafes are appearing everywhere to offer a taste of normality. i.ibb.co/dP1TY7N/Sutton.jpgDennis

Ocean Grove is a quaint little beach town not far from where I live. I tried to capture streets showing the three distinctive kind of homes you will find there. The image below is of a few of the tent homes. People are just beginning to get them ready. In the summer they will be very charming and surrounded by flowers in hanging baskets and various containers. For anyone interested this article shows the inside of one and gives you an idea of what these will look like in the summer.

High Street. Stockton on Tees. At 70 metres, it is the widest High Street in the UK.

I passed this beautiful street on my way to an appointment today and thought if it wasn't raining I'd stop for a picture on the way home. Serendipitously this young man in red(!) drove onto the street as I was taking a second shot....never even saw him coming.

Sunday morning during a pandemic seemed like a good time to stand in the middle of main street for a picture. I had to be quick and got some camera shake when a car appeared from nowhere but Topaz came to the rescue. Tony

Hope I'm not going off-piste too much here, but my STREET is Friday Street, a tiny hamlet in the Surrey Hills. It consists of a meadow, a pond, three or four houses and not much else. (The pub has unfortunately closed -perhaps a victim of lockdown.) People come here to walk amidst the peaceful wooded surroundings and all-in-all it's one of the most delightful places I know. i.ibb.co/gVcxnxJ/FS-Meadow.jpgi.ibb.co/LZr2Tr5/FS-Pond.jpgi.ibb.co/PTVzf33/FS.jpgBrenda

Dennis Dennis, this street is like a beacon of hope for normal days in the near future. A very uplifting image, one with a message. Well done!

A Street Market in Woolwich is busy. Matthew Matthew, very interesting finding -- a street doubling as a marketplace! Great job capturing the "action".
