Sunday morning during a pandemic seemed like a good time to stand in the middle of main street for a picture. I had to be quick and got some camera shake when a car appeared from nowhere but Topaz came to the rescue. Tony, your courage paid off -- great shot. I really like the composition with the leading lines/vanishing point.

Hope I'm not going off-piste too much here, but my STREET is Friday Street, a tiny hamlet in the Surrey Hills. It consists of a meadow, a pond, three or four houses and not much else. (The pub has unfortunately closed -perhaps a victim of lockdown.) People come here to walk amidst the peaceful wooded surroundings and all-in-all it's one of the most delightful places I know. Brenda Brenda, you never cease to surprise me! I love your interpretation -- a unique street surrounded by nature. It looks so peaceful, so tranquil!

Our street this evening after a spring downpour! Ironically, it is very dry here and we need a good 3-day rain!
