Hi everyone, Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. The rules are rather simple.
- Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.
NOTE
This week’s theme comes with a twist; the idea is to capture not the whole bicycle but a detail or details.

A local farmer has a collection of old kids bikes for sale - stopped by today and it looked like the ones in better condition had gone but there were a few left to photograph: This one was hot and turbocharged ... And just in case you don't know your front from your rear this one was labelled! Tony

The rear reflector on my son's bicycle. Lucky for me that he came to visit yesterday, as I hesitate to be seen taking too close a look at a stranger's property. i.ibb.co/X2SbHT8/BL.jpgBrenda

Yes Brenda. I am having to miss this one, as I don't know anyone with a bike. All the kids are riding on those electric scooters now. No exercise on those.

Ran across a vintage ladies bike today and it was available for a photo op - so here are a couple: This saddle doesn't look as comfortable as some of the other examples posted - but at least it has springs - albeit rusty! And nothing fancy about the handlebars - no gear levers or brakes to worry about - I didn't check but I guess it had a back-pedal brake Tony

Had an opportunity to take some pictures of my grandson's bike today... Helen, and you did a good job -- captured a variety of bicycle details (with an up close & personal approach).

Frank, I like how the model fills the frame, bringing up all the details. Beautiful tones!

My contribution to this week's theme - a rather uncomfortable-looking saddle. Dennis Dennis, this takes top honors. The choice of a simplistic composition emphasizes the feeling of "uncomfortable".

Basket on front of Uber Hire Bike. Matthew Matthew, I like how you zoomed in and shot the basket from the side. Nice contrast -- its reddish colors against the black/gray colors of the bike frame.

And just in case you don't know your front from your rear this one was labelled! Tony Tony, they seem to be in good condition. My favorite is the 3rd image. Great job capturing the aging process of that bike (all that rust).
