Could be part of The Rolling Thunder Run, an annual motorcycle rally held in Washington, D.C (and other areas in the United States) "to draw attention to the plight of POWs and MIAs".

Jim behind our house is a minor highway that this afternoon must have been at least 50 or maybe more cycles riding by. Must have been the same group riding by our house!

Thanks, Helen! Stunning landscapes at every turn, lovely people. In some ways like going back 100 years, in others bang up to date. Faster internet everywhere than I have back at home. Best of all, great to see little children with dirty knees and faces playing outside. No helicopter parenting here. |

Not often you have the Ontario Town Criers visiting but they were here today to compete for the provincial title - and yes we still have town criers! Had the opportunity to get them in a group in costume:  Tony |
