Hi everyone, Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. The rules are rather simple.
- Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.

Got a triple "S" this morning when we visited the newly opened extension of the Northern Line, which takes in two new stations, Nine Elms and Battersea Power Station. The latter boasts a new permanent artwork entitled "Sunset, Sunrise, Sunset" by Alexandre da Cunha. It is somewhat disconcerting at first sight, but the long frieze stretching the whole length of the ticket hall gradually but constantly changes colour along its length, representing in the different colours the daily flow from dawn to dusk. Really needs to be viewed leisurely over several minutes. i.ibb.co/0f2fLs4/ST-2.jpgBrenda

My favourite Supermarket is Sain Sbury' S. This one is next to the new Nine Elms Underground Station, which we visited this morning. i.ibb.co/JtkRsBg/Sainsburys.jpgMatthew

Is that the same scooter from last week, Jim? If so that scooter sure gets around.

S is for Squirrels - currently up in an area of Ontario where red squirrels dominate while at home they are all black or gray and much bigger. Here's a red watching me: There are a few blacks here too - this one was making off at speed with a black walnut in its mouth. Surprisingly I've seen the reds carrying them too despite being smaller but they move so fast I've failed to get a picture. Tony
