I am having trouble posting images all of a sudden,let me try one more time This a pic of an insect on a Crepe Myrtle blossom pod.  Now when I hit the Create Button and it doesn't show.......well I don't yet know what Ill do. It has been suggested that I change my image storage site. If it does then appear, you tell me why it won't post in some of the other sub forums on this site. Here goe's nothing dick |

Lovely image, Dick - if you like 'them things'  Why don't you try uploading via postimage? It's really easy. It's so self-explanatory. When you get to what size to try, I'd suggest going for the 17" monitor size.  Go on ... I DARE you ... !!!!! Julie |

Okay easy enough but I still would like to now why TinyPic failed,,,thats been a Stalwart to my photo's in the past in the past.
A question tho, this is not a hosting site right? Your images reside in your computer but don't take up space on the forum when posted.right?

Again, it doesn't look like TinyPic failed. Your picture is posted, isn't it?
As to your question, you are correct - posting images on this forum using any of the means available do not use storage on the forum.

Have you checked your settings/ Maybe something in there needs a tweak?

This just happened overnight and I just noticed my gallery is riddled with missing pics. My browser is google chrome and I have no problems viewing these images elswhere,,,,,,,the mystery continues and I'll continue to use "postimage". I'm now going to have a piece of warm apple pie and a cup of black coffee.
BTW here's a thought,I got 74 updates overnight on this Win8 install,,,do you suppose that might have a glitch somewhere in the dark shadows?

All those updates? Oh, yes, you reformatted your computer, didn't you? I would advise getting all the updates sorted. You will need to keep going to 'Check Updates', and click on 'Check Updates' even though it says you are up to date. It will keep finding more! Then totally reboot after each lot of updates and then check updates again! I had to do all this the other day too. It took forever before the machine actually downloaded and installed all the updates. Once all they are done, you should be able to go to the Store and download 8.1 (assuming you have Win 8), then even more updates. After that, hopefully, things will settle down again. Good luck |
