Dick,
We have detailed instructions how to insert an image into a post in our FAQs board. They cover postimage.org, Pixentral, CubeUpload, and Flick.
photoshopelementsandmore.com/board/1/faqs If there is a possibility that the culprit is your server, I am not sure how we can help you. You need to contact your Internet services provider.
I wouldn't give up looking at your browser settings as the possible culprit either. As I said before, you may want to post in the Google Chrome forum. I believe they will be able to help you in a timely and expert manner.

Dick, I thought that, by using postimage, you were able to see your own pictures in posts. Did I misunderstand you?
Regarding posting an image here ...
1. Click on button, just under Quick Reply, that says "Upload via postimage.org" 2. A smaller window opens. Click on 'Browse', navigate to, and click on, your image to be posted, then click on 'Open' 3. Select the size you would like your image to be displayed at, ie 15" or 17" (although it's just been changed so your image will display in post at the size you select, no longer as thumbnail) 4. Click OK
Then, in the window where you are writing your reply (ie the window I'm typing in to write this post), you will see the url for the image.
Then, click 'Post Quick Reply'
Viola! You should have an image, of your choice, displayed in the post.

Ive got an idea lets see what this does,I'm going to post an image from "Tinypic" then post the same image from My Pictures from my computer using "postimage"
I see the image from the "postimage" effort but do not see the image from "Tinypic". I do however see an ICON in it's place that is a dogeared image of a mountain with a cloud. Do you see the image from "Tinypic"? Okay I'm back, I waited about 30 minutes had breakfast, and now the ICON is gone. My take on this problem is, it doesn't exist and I will divorce myself from it and use postimage in the future, end of discussin on my part, I have a question for you dick: when you first said you see the image from postimage but not from tinypic, had you clicked the Create Post button yet? Also, after your came back, could you then see both of your images?

Well I'll be dipped, there it is. What happen to deleting part of the URL so that it started with HTTP and ended with jpg and also deleting the sxx.#. Looks like two different scenarios and two different sets of directions.I didn't know that.
