I'm thinking you could come up with something better for this, Pete. Maybe rather than using just one spike of a flower you could include its container in the shot as well. I'm really not sure. I hope that my comment might encourage someone to come forward with a better idea.

yea as, Helen, says, as suggestion if you maybe took a picture so you get full shot of the mirror angled to the camera lens with the pot n flower, then turn pot 180 and take another shot, in PSE bring the two into one images, I'm thinking it could kinda work.

Peter, I'm a little late to this thread, but another way to achieve a reflection is to take your pictures at night, using a light, water from a dropper and a piece of glass with something smooth black underneath..... Here is an example.....

Thanks for the advice, I used a smaller mirror and my iPhone and was able to get a portion of the pot in the capture. Since my goal was to use a reflection to show both sides of the bloom rather than taking 2 separate images I discounted this idea. Here's 3 captures in a screen shot.

Thanks to all for input. Since my goal was to capture top and bottom of a Christmas Cactus Bloom I submitted this..

Peter A good choice. I did look at these a few days ago and that would have been my choice. It is the least busy and "best" overall.
