Hi everyone, Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. The rules are rather simple.
- Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.
NOTE
This week's theme was suggested by tonyw. (Thanks, Tony!)

Note: I have posted a couple of these signs before, but these are new photos. This afternoon, I walked across the road and shot new photos of my photos on the interpretive signs at the Alberta Birds of Prey Center. There are informational signs throughout the BOP where the raptors are housed and more signs along the shale paths along part of the wetland shore. People generally will not read many words on signs, but they will look at photos. Makes me happy to donate photos to the BOP. This poster is sized to 4K so you might want to click the image to see more detail.

My migration from Nikon to Fujifilm is complete now, with the sale of a D750 and a lot of lenses and acquisition of a Fujifilm X-T3 and just a few lenses. It's been a long time since I set up a brand new system to behave the way I want, but after a final hurdle with autofocus and autoexposure I think I may be close. The learning curve was much steeper than I expected, but having a tool that now acts the way I expect is very satisfying and images are beginning to turn out the way I see them. This is from this morning on a little walkway outside the 16th floor of a nearby facility. I love that the folks involved with this place set out a hummingbird feeder.
Thanks for the theme Sepiana and Tony.

I do still have a D700 but it only gets used on rare occasions because it will tether to Lightroom and talk to a pair of Nikon flashes. Tony

Thanks Tony. Do you have a favorite lens for the x-t3? I got a kit 18-55 with the body, then added a 10-24mm, f4 and a 35mm, f1.4. I know my little people are going to start clamoring for a macro pretty soon, so I'm looking at a 60mm for that, figuring it will double nicely for real people portraits too. Let me know if there's something else I should be checking out.

Some historic learning: The outside of an old one room schoolhouse - still run into people who were taught in it so not that old but now in an outdoor museum. Girls enter to the lest and Boys to the right ... And inside the teachers desk with some old books, a paddle and of course an apple for teacher: Tony

Binders full of the old PET Magazines. Each magazine was chock full with articles designed to expand our knowledge base and creativity using Photoshop Elements. At the end on the magazine was a Subscriber's Showcase. Here people would share their work based on articles that they had learned from in the magazine. Helen, a trip down memory lane and a nod to the PET magazine. Nice thinking!

I bet they are happy too.

My favorite is the 2nd image -- a lot of history on top of that desk.
