Basic Quote
When replying to a post you may wish to include a quote of that post in your reply. This is easily done using the Quote button (top-right of the post). Clicking the Quote button is identical to clicking the Reply button, except that the contents of the post will appear in a quote box in your reply. Simply click below the quote box to position the cursor and enter your reply (but see the note at the bottom).
FYI: You can edit the text in the quote box to remove any parts that do not pertain to your response.
Quick Quote
There is also a Quick Quote feature, but its use is a little less obvious. If you make a selection within a post (click with your mouse and then drag to make your selection), you will be presented with a button titled Quick Quote after you release the mouse button. When you click it, it appears like nothing happened, but if you scroll to the bottom of the page you will see that your selection has been placed in the Quick Reply box. Simply click the Reply button and complete your reply.
Multi-Quote
You can also quote from several posts into one reply. Hold the Alt-key down while you make a selection (you must release the mouse button before the Alt-key is released). Do this for each post you want to quote from. Finally, click any Quote button and your quotes will be deposited in a Create Post box.
NB: If you find that you can not position the cursor below the quote box, do this: Click the BBCode tab at the bottom of the edit window, scroll to the bottom, click after the last visible character and hit the Enter button one or more times. Return to the preview mode by clicking the the Preview tab and you will now be able to position the cursor at the bottom.
