Hi everyone, Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. The rules are rather simple.
- Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.

This mouse is my newest piece of upgraded technology. But then new is relative, isn't it? Looking around my kitchen the door water dispenser is my favorite update to refrigerators.....first introduced in 1980's but upgraded in the 1990's to include chilled and filtered water.

I bought a new TV about a month ago. I finally looked at the instructions today. Complete double dutch. Give me old technology any time.

Solar Panels are used to power the flashing red lights that surround the stop signs warning drivers at the roads end.

Fairly new in town - now I just need the car (and the app) that can use it. Still thinking about it ... Tony

The newest technology I have is my car which has a hybrid drive train. There's an indicator on the dash that can show you the source of the power you're using. Internal combustion or battery. The car is a year old this week, and has averaged 58.2 miles per gallon. (I usually have the indicator off as I find it distracting. To get the indicator to show power from the battery to the wheels, the car has to be moving. I happened to be in a large, empty parking lot so I felt OK creeping along to take a quick snapshot.) Thanks for the theme Sepiana.

New field, just installed over summer and fall of 2021. Maybe not the most cutting edge tech, but far newer than the traditional sources for electricity. Rick, it fits the New Technology theme. In many areas of the country, it is still a novelty.
