Our Forum Needs an Energy Boost!

We have some great new members as well as loyal members who have been with our forum for years.     However, I feel like we need to work together to see if we can improve our website participation.   While we have always asked for member suggestions, we have received very few.
As a start I would like to invite you to try something new.   Are you someone who only participates on one or two boards?  Why not branch out and see where else you can contribute?  Do you visit frequently but rarely participate, we'd love to see you post to a board that interests you.  Do you have an idea for a game?  We have had a lot of fun with games in the past.  You are welcome to start one on This and That.  

If you take up my invitation, please share below what you are trying.  Let's see if we can spread some enthusiasm and inspire each other.  Thanks for reading and considering how you can help.

Helen, I was thinking.......Flickr sites often have a monthly contest on a theme which you can enter a photo or artistic image into. At the end of the month the people who entered the contest vote on which image(s) they like best (depending on the number of entries). The images with the most votes are then featured similar to our IOW thread.

Hi Pat,

It is greatly appreciated that you took the time to think about and respond to Helen's invitation.

We talked about it on the admin board, and pretty quickly concluded that with the number of challenges we already have, we couldn't see how adding one more would help.

Please keep your thinking cap on and sharing your thoughts and suggestions!  You were one of our very first members and your participation has consistently been appreciated.
